06/20/2025 - Weekly Note - Friday - Click Here: Stocks ended the week slightly lower as markets navigated rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Energy led all sectors. The Treasury Yield Curve steepened slightly with rising yields on longer duration bonds. The OCED lowered global growth outlook for 2025 and 2026. Both soft and hard data releases this past week indicate the US economy is cooling. The Fed continues its "wait and see" approach partly because inflation is above target with risking risks from tariffs and geopolitical tensions.
